Last January 2021, Gascat delivered through its agent Zennergy International, 2 Indirect Water Bath Heaters of thermal capacity of 756,000kcal/h each and 4 Pressure Regulators model Urano 6" 600# RF, to one of the largest refined sugar plant in the world, a project called "Canal Sugar" which uses as raw material for sugar refining sugar the sugar beet.

The Plant is located in Cairo, Egypt and has a production capacity of 900,000 Tons per year of refined sugar. Natural Gas is used in several stages of processing and refining sugar from sugar beet, such as burning, evaporation and drying. A curiosity of this project is the fact that the largest "silo" of Refined sugar storage in the world is being built, with a storage capacity of 417,000 Tons.
